With the rapid development of smart grid,the expansion of modern power grid scale and the enhancement of interconnection makes the fault diagnosis of power system face more complex data environment,which improves the difficulty in guaranteering the operation safety and stability of power grid.In order to deal with complex fault of the power grid,this paper studies complex fault simulation and objective function in fault diagnosis methods using optimization techniques.The main work is as follows:Based on the working principle and action logic of the relay protection device and the circuit breaker,a power grid simulation model that can simulate various complex faults that may occur in the actual power grid is built.By modularizing the model and designing the parameter setting interface,the model has the ability to quickly configure the different power grid structures.According to the fault report of unified format,the batch simulation and acquisition of fault cases are realized,so as to solve the problem of lack of complex fault cases in the research.In the fault diagnosis method using optimization technique,the selection of the objective function has a great influence on the diagnosis result.In order to improve the fault diagnosis method,this paper presents a method of scientifically selecting the objective function.Based on a large number of complex fault cases in power grids,the objective function values of different cases are calculated and the influence of different complex faults on the fault diagnosis results is analyzed.Based on this,the objective function is corrected and a scientific objective function selection method is obtained.Finally,the correctness of this method is verified by using the power grid fault diagnosis system.
