Self-service banking landed in China from the early 1980s.From the beginning of not being recognized,to the advent of an information-based society with the development of science and technology,self-service banking has become an important channel for financial business transactions.The establishment of a self-service bank takes into account people’s need for convenience,while saving space,improving the efficiency of business operations,and the advantages of safer operation,which brings great convenience to people’s daily lives.Based on the analysis of the development status of self-service banks at home and abroad,field surveys,document reading methods,and questionnaire surveys are used to conduct field visits to some banks in northern cities,through comparisons of inspections of commercial banks and self-service banking outlets.analysis.Discovering self-service banking as an autonomous way of operating transactions,corporate operations and managers over-emphasize on profitability and neglect human development.In addition,the appearance size of the teller is irrational,and the function distribution and interface do not conform to the habits of human eyes.The promptness and guidance for the users of the self-service transaction for the first time are not obvious,which brings a lot of inconvenience to the operation.The unsafe operating space has also become an important factor affecting the user’s use.For the size of the operating space,the over-large space brings the user’s unsafe mentality,and the discomfort caused by the operation of the oversized space has affected the design of the self-service bank.The paper analyzes and studies the problems of self-service equipment,operation space,and environment.First,it outlines the overall situation of self-service banking,and understands the various elements,functions,and transaction forms of self-service banking.Based on this,it conducts domestic and foreign status analysis,research and analysis,and finds self-help.Problems in bank design and user use.From the ergonomics man-machine-environment point of view,self-service banking elements are designed and analyzed:from the human factors,namely,physiological characteristics,psychological awareness,user needs,etc.;machine factors,namely,product function,product size,Product function layout,interface layout,product modeling,materials,etc.;environmental factors,ie physical environmental factors that affect space,overall spatial planning,spatial scale,and dimensions.Focus on self-service teller equipment,space dimensions and size studies.According to the research results,the design principles and design methods are summarized,and the design scheme is proposed for innovation and improved design.In the redesign,referring to the human body size standards and product design methods,planning reasonable equipment dimensions,and breaking the original operating mode in the self-service equipment modeling and functional design,re-layout each function partition,and standardize the interface character size,so that the operating mode is in line with people machine.Establish a reasonable operating space,install a protective cabin,and improve the impact of unsafe factors on the lack of user security.And increase the study of rest areas and barrier-free design to build a more humane concept of self-service banking space.Finally,summarizing the content and design of this article in the design of the lack of and deficiencies,causing related professional practitioners in the design of the concern and thinking,to provide theoretical guidance for other spatial design.
