Study On Fault Location Of High Voltage Transmission Line Based On Natural Frequency Of Traveling Wave

With the development of China's electric power industry,transmission power and voltage level of transmission lines are increasing.Long distance transmission line,through the mountains,the working environment getting extremely bad,this is the most trouble place of power system,and it is very difficult to find fault point.When fault occurs.it is important to quickly and reliably remove the fault and line repair the line to the entire power system security and stability and economic operation.Compared with the traditional fault location technology based on power frequency,the traveling wave based fault location technology is not easy to be influenced by the system operation mode,the transition resistance,the CT saturation line distribution capacitance.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of the theory of traveling wave and wavelet transform,the theory of mathematical morphology,and the DSP as the representative of the new technology of modern microelectronics,traveling wave ranging technology has been rapid development.A number of methods and principles of the double ended traveling wave fault location based on single ended and double ended traveling wave are developed.It should be noted that the reliability of the existing traveling wave distance measuring device and the accuracy of the distance measurement are still need to be improved.In this paper,the analysis and modeling of the fault location of the fault location of the fault point is carried out by the traveling wave propagation law.Since the natural frequency of the fault traveling wave is measured in the frequency domain,the error of the time domain analysis is avoided,and the information of traveling wave line is obtained.The study of the theory of distance measurement,to a certain extent,enriches the theory of traveling wave,and further improves the principle of the traveling wave fault location.
