The rapid development of life sciences and nanosciences has put forward higher and higher observation requirements for the production and transmission of key substances of very weak optical signals.Traditional spectral imaging technology is limited by the dimensionality and sensitivity,which cannot satisfy the needs of researchers.Thus,single-photon time-resolved imaging spectrometer has become an urgent need for high-end instruments and equipments in the field of scientific research.And it can simultaneously acquire five dimensions of information in a single measurement by combining the compressive sensing algorithm and the time-resolved technology.The DMD(Digital Micromirror Device)control system is the key component of single-photon time-resolved imaging spectrometer which constitutes the key measurement matrix of compression sensing module,which is required by the instrument in this thesis.And the main task of the DMD is to provide a 0-1 matrix,that is,the DMD need not to provide grayscale display.So it is necessary to design a hardware platform to operate the DMD by ourselves,and it can realize high-speed display of the binary image so as to improve the display refresh rate of the DMD and enhance the measurement speed of the compressive sensing module.Firstly,according to the functional requirements of the DMD control system,the overall framework of the system is determined,and the control system hardware platform with the Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA as the core processor is designed.Then,on the basis of the hardware platform,the software structure of the DMD control system is defined to study the DDR3 SDRAM user interface protocol and the DMD interface control mode.We use hardware description language Verilog to wirte the interface control program for the purpose of achieving high-speed data write and read.Finally,the designed DMD control system is tested,and the results show that the system can achieve DMD binary image display wih high frame rate,meanwhile,the display frequency can increase to 5KHz,which can meet the technical specifications of the instrument.
