Research And Application Of UAV On Transmission Lines Inspection

High-speed economic development in our country at the same time,the power industry and rapid advances in the development of inland overhead transmission line tower is increasing,but due to the complexity of China’s regional geographical environment,transmission line corridors environment is different,also brought some difficulties for the artificial transmission line patrol.Southern region environment is relatively complex,mountain belt Collins,uneven terrain,it also determines the part of the transmission line corridors in forests or mountains.How the number of transmission line tower and corridor in a timely manner to the patrol power line normal transport is crucial,but its complex meteorological and landform condition decided the only rely on conventional means such as artificial patrol is difficult to meet the requirements,especially for transmission corridor fire,ice,debris flow,,landslides and other natural disasters is unable to start.Unmanned Aerial vehicles(UVA)with manipulation is simple,sensitive reaction speed,flexible flight,long battery life,the advantages of low cost,has been widely used in disaster relief,military reconnaissance,Marine monitoring,environmental protection and so on.This paper experiment to Yunnan mountain transmission line as the background,based on rotor unmanned helicopter and UAV for patrol tools,integrated with visible light and infrared camera camera pod as the load of patrol,selection of Yuxi 500 kv treasure peak-Yuxi 1 500 kv line,Puer is sumie II loop,Zhaotong 500 kv forever GanYi line for transmission line patrol airspace is relatively easy to declare area.Subject to the limitation of the altitude and the focal length of the camera,the aerial images of the UAV are characterized by a large number of images,such as small amplitude,high overlap,and navigation bandwidth.Sometimes need to get the whole situation according to the scope of the disaster of a wide range of image,so the image splicing technology become an indispensable part of UAV in transmission line patrol,a preliminary understanding of the disaster has an extremely important role.By UAV was carried out on the transmission line patrol photographs of fire and ice disasters,through transmission device back to the display unit on the ground,through the software to the image transmission lines of image registration,image fusion splicing image with the entire disaster information.Finally,the edge information of the disaster image of transmission line is analyzed,and the scope of the disaster is preliminarily mastered.
