| In order to meet the requirements of the high performance electron linear accelerator for high-quality electron beam,The independently-tunable-cells(ITC)RF gun has been suggested by HLS,and the grid-controlled electron gun with double-anode structure has been suggested as the external injecting electron source of the ITC RF gun,to overcome the weakness of the traditional grid-controlled electron gun.The power supply of the electron gun with double-anode structure is quite different from the power supply of traditional grid-controlled electron.The power supply system has been studied and designed in this paper.To produce the grid pulse,three coupling methods can be used:transformer coupling,capacitive coupling and direct coupling.In this paper the principles of the three coupling methods are analyzed.The simulation models of the three coupling methods are established using PSPICE software,according to the simulation,the capacitive coupling and the direct coupling which based on MOSFET were designed.Secondly,according to the structural characteristics of the "double anode",the positive and negative 20kV pulsed high voltage power supply has been designed.In order to achieve better rising and falling edges,the solid state switching pulse modulation technology based on MOSFET series has been employed in this power supply.The MOSFET drive design,the technology of the MOSFET serial voltage equalization,and the protection circuit design has been introduced in detail.The experimental measurement has been performed on the grid-control power supply and the positive and negative 20kV plused high voltage power supplies.The results of the two coupling circuits in the grid-control power supply has been compared.Finally,in order to understand the electron beam quality of the electron gun with "double-anode",the measurement system has been builded.The beam of the electron gun has been measured and the waveform of the electron beam has been given. |
