In the traditional research and design of automatic transmissions, pure digital off-line simulation is mostly adopted.Due to the lack of effective real-time verification methods in the early stage of development, the reliability of the development system is reduced. In recent years, with the rapid development of electronic control technology,real-time simulation technology with higher confidence has received increasing attention from researchers and developers.Real-time simulation mainly through object model to real-time code conversion, debug and download to the hardware running to highlight its authenticity and rapidity. It mainly consists of Rapid Control Prototyping and Hardware-In-the-Loop.Its use can not only overcome the defects of the traditional digital model simulation, but also overcome the errors existing in early model development, thereby improving the system reliability, reducing the development cycle, cost and project risk.It has a prominent position in the current field of automatic transmission system development and performance testing. Therefore,in this study, from the perspective of good shift quality and fuel economy, the 6-speed Wet Dual Clutch Transmission, referred to as WDCT,mounted on a car is used as a target, and the existing theoretical knowledge of Dual Clutch Transmission, referred to as DCT,is used for the design of the WDCT real-time vehicle model. The construction and development of real-time systems, experiments, and other content are studied.First of all,the basic theory of DCT is studied. The structure and working principle of DCT are mainly discussed.Secondly, adopting the forward modeling method,a longitudinal vehicle powertrain model equipped with 6-speed WDCT is established through Matlab/Simulink/SimDriveline,which mainly includes the engine model, dual clutch model, transmission model and vehicle dynamics model. In addition, the shift control system is studied. The shift control strategy is designed based on the combined shift schedule, and each control subsystem model is established.Combined with the mechanical drivetrain model,it builds the model of whole vehicle system model and accomplishes off-line simulation to verify the feasibility of model.Consequently, the vehicle real-time system are designed and tested based on the V-type development model.Taking the dSPACE real-time system as a platform, taking the vehicle simulation model as the object, the input/output of the offline model is correctly mapped to the I/O port, and the original logical connection relationship is replaced with the hardware interface relationship to complete the off-line model to Real-time model transformation. Then use the model automatic code generation function to complete model conversion to real-time object code, debug and download it to dSPACE real-time hardware.Based on ControlDesk, set up a control system test platform to complete the Rapid Control Prototype test. And compare the two simulation results. In summary, the research on the WDCT vehicle system shows that the designed real-time simulation model is correct and feasible. The method of Rapid Control Prototyping test provides convenience for the development of this new transmission, reducing the testing risk and cost, and improving the authenticity and confidence of the simulation. It is of great significance in the development of automotive control systems, structural design optimization, performance prediction, and dynamic test research.
