Research On The Rural Tourism Landscape Planning Of ZhangJiaJie

With the increasing pace of life in cities,a rising number of people,in recent years,tend to spend their leisure time in the countryside,staying close to the nature and relaxing themselves so as to escape the urban life.As a result,the Chinese government strategically puts much emphasis on the development of rural tourism and also proposes that the natural landscapes should be combined with cultural resource so as to boost the development of rural entertainment industries.On one hand,the development of countryside tourism meets the needs of people trying to ease themselves by traveling;on the other,countryside tourism itself boosts the growth of economy in the countryside,accelerating the construction of socialist countryside.Nevertheless,the development of rural tourism,due to the lack of theoretical base and practical experience,leads to the overexploitation of tourism products and market.Besides,little emphasis has been put on the landscapes in the rural area,resulting in the waste of resource and even the damage to the original landscape as well as the ecosystem.Drawing on the extant plans of rural tourism from both domestic and abroad and referring to the related theories,this research exposes the issues concerning the rural landscapes and tentatively figures out a method,with an aim to thrive the economy in the rural area,on how to sustainably develop the rural tourism and realize the strategy of rural vitalization,which was released by the Chinese government,by combining the rural landscapes with the rural environment.Based on the conclusion concerning the related documents from both domestic and abroad,it clarifies,in the first part of this research,the academic background and meaning and sorts out the current researches on countryside tourism and the plan of countryside landscape,pinning down the direction and contents of this study.In the second part,this study makes an academic conclusion on the related definitions and theories,laying a theoretical foundation for the development of the further argument.By referring to the relevant theories on tourism,landscape and the science of human settlements,it also classifies the rural tourism landscapes as the following:ecological landscape,productive landscape,landscape of facilities,and landscape of humanities.Moreover,it picks up five typical countryside tourism areas,which to be precise are Maershan Village,Yejifu Village,Gaolin Village,Hongjiashan Village,Shiyanping Village,etc.,and does a study on them respectively,as a result of which a series of problems is revealed.Based on the aforementioned study,this research found that the primary issues relating to the tourism landscapes are:the damage to the ecosystem;the unawareness of the environmental protection in the public;the spatial disconnection of the farmland;the singleness of the rural industry;the incompleteness of the infrastructure and tourism constructions;the chaos in the spatial arrangement of tribal buildings;the shortage of rural public space and cultural characteristics and;etc.In the next part,this research proposes,relying on the conclusion of the last chapter,a range of strategies and principles for the plan of countryside tourism landscapes in Zhangjiajie,which to be precise are as follows:protect the ecological landscapes;motivate the development of productive landscapes;renew and rebuild the construction of landscapes of facilities and;protect and develop the landscapes of humanities.In the final part,it puts forward a constructive suggestion on the application of the results of this research into the construction of ecological,harmonious and also sustainable rural tourism in villages of Zhangjiajie such as Cheyan Village,Muyangchong Village,Songjiaxi Village,etc.
