Beian,at the north bank of Dayaowan in Dalian Port has been built since Sep,2012.On one hand,land reclamation by dredger fill making use of silt is a major method for port construction for the purpose of widening northern waterway and solving the land-using problem.On the other hand,dredger fill comes with the disadvantages of uneven thickness,complex ingredients,difficult treatment,high instability and some liquidity.Foundation treatment for dredger fill has become a large problem not just the difficulty by normal treatment ways and less effect but excessive settlement.In this paper,Dayaowan port was chosen as an example to conduct a special research on foundation treatment of dredger fill.Physical and mechanical characteristics of dredger fill in northern bank of Dayaowan was researched by analyzing grain and mineral composition,in-situ test and indoor test to find a more rational and economic way for foundation reinforcement which could play an important role on providing guideline for the following dredger fill treatment projects.At present,dynamic compaction and dynamic compaction replacement are the most economic and shortest in construction especially for large area.In addition,this paper also researched treatment effect of dynamic replacement technology for fine grain,low bearing and high saturation dredger fill according to sinking-pipe macadam piles of large diameter.Meanwhile,this paper also analyzed the pile materials and explored the development direction of dynamic replacement technology.
