Today’s bicycles actually refer collectively to human and bicycle hybrids.With the development of electric bicycles,a single bicycle flow consisting essentially of human bicycles has changed.In the new situation of hybrid human and electric bicycles,the factors and variables that need to be considered in the planning and design of bicycle traffic have increased,and the situation has become more complicated.The traditional bicycle traffic theory and laws are no longer able to accurately describe existing bicycle traffic.situation.Therefore,it is imperative to study the laws of bicycle traffic in the new situation.This paper analyzes the intrinsic traffic characteristics of bicycles by analyzing bicycle traffic survey data,including travel time,speed,flow rate,percentage of electric bicycles,geometric characteristics,driver characteristics,and traffic behavior characteristics.At the same time,through investigation data,the level of non-motor vehicle road services was divided from the aspects of traffic flow,speed dispersion,bicycle speed and service flow rate.Based on the analysis of bicycle traffic characteristics,microscopic traffic simulation technology is used to establish a basic traffic simulation model for the bicycle traffic in the new situation,and further improve the model through error checking,simulation experiment design,parameter verification,and model qualitative inspection.Then,the service level is selected according to the standards of non-motor vehicle road service level division,and on this basis,the simulation model is run several times to obtain the output data required for the research.Then,in the context of determining the service level and determining the proportion of electric bicycles,with the increase of road width of non-motor vehicles,the service flow changes.Therefore,the corresponding relationship between the two is determined under certain circumstances,and the law of stepwise change of service flow with increasing road width is revealed.The above-mentioned corresponding relations and related laws can not only enrich the bicycle traffic theory,but also have a certain reference role in optimizing bicycle traffic planning and design and maximizing the benefits of road resources utilization.At the same time,due to adopting the microscopic traffic simulation technology,this paper realizes the random adjustment of road width and flow,which fully reflects its superiority.Therefore,microscopic traffic simulation has broad prospects in the application of bicycle law research.
