The geogrid as a special type of Geosynthetics has been widely applied in the engineering field,especially for subgrade reinforcing and reducing uneven settlement,because of its high strength,light weight,low strain,acid and alkali resistance,anti-aging,etc.The application and research of geogrid in China started relatively late,the research on the application of geogrid engineering was given more attention and the experimental research on the mechanical properties of geogrid is relatively little.According to the research status of the Geogrid,In this paper,we study the tensile test under different stretching modes of bidirectional plastic geotextile,to expect that the experimental results can make a reasonable evaluation on the mechanical properties of geogrid in different stress modes.Firstly,this paper summarizes the research results of the tensile test and tensile properties of Geosynthetics,and make the summary and the discussion on the geosynthetic materials,the concept,classification and engineering application of geogrid.Based on the Angle of production process,the paper explains the stretching mechanism of the geogrid product,and analyzes the structure,engineering characteristics of geogas grid from both micro and macro aspects.In this paper,we focus on study on tensile test of bidirectional geogrid,according to the way of unidirectional stretch,bidirectional stretch,full stretch,analyse and summarize the differences in mechanical properties of bidirectional plastic geogrid in different forces.For the unidirectional stretch test,It mainly study multiple no lateral restraint tension test and multiple lateral restraint tension test,by controlling the tensile rate,study the The influence of tensile rate on mechanical properties of geogrid.The experimental results showed that the same strength of plastics geogrid in mechanical drawing,the tensile strength and tensile modulus of secant increases with the increase of stretching rate,ultimate strain decreases with the increase of stretch rate.At the same rate,the mechanical properties of the tow kinds of stretching methods are different.By analysis,summarize the correlation of tensile strength,tensile modulus and tensile rate with a certain strain.Comparing with the grille after stretching,two kinds of failure modes can be found due to the difference of the stretching rate.For the bidirectional stretch,It mainly study the bidirectional plastic geogrid in air and sand with different axial load.By controlling the tensile rate,study the The influence of tensile rate on mechanical properties of geogrid.The experimental results showed that the tensile strength tensile modulus and the trend of the peak strain are similar to the uniaxial tensile strain at the same strength.Compared with sand in the air in the tensile test results,the same strength of geogrid,stretching rate under the same strain of the same tensile strength and tensile modulus,is much smaller than in the sand in the air,and difference increases with the increase of axial load,peak strain is rightly opposite.For the full stretch,It mainly study the three kinds of two-way plastic and warp-woven geogrid.By same material different strength tensile test and the results of the same intensity of two materials,The experimental results showed that the stress and strain curves of the plastic geogrid are consistent with the stress and strain curves.The tensile strength and tensile modulus corresponding to the same strain are much larger than that of single or double strength.The stress and strain curves of plastic and warp-woven geogrid are different.Due to the microstructure of the different warp-woven geogrid,there will be a rebound phenomenon with stretching.By regression analysis of tensile strength and tensile modulus and strain relationship,the correlation of power regression was more significant.Finally summarize the result of the three types of tensile test,analysis of different loading mode on our test materials showed the difference of mechani cal properties,summary the changing rule,for the design and construction of t he reinforced soil structure and provide reference for field test data processing.
