Facilities management is an important part of the operation and maintenance phase of the subway station, and it is difficult for facility managers to manage facilities at subway station because the operation and maintenance phase is the longest one in the lifecycle phases of subway station. There are a lot of problems in traditional facility management at subway station,so a digital method is needs to resolve these problems.Building Information Modeling technology is a visual database and applied widely in the design and construction phase of projects.Through developing,BIM can be applied in facilities management to solve the existing problems and bring a new digital management tool for facilities management at subway station. At the same time, there is the need for quantitative statistical results,to show how much economic benefits the BIM technology brings in subway station.Firstly,an investigation about the status of facilities management at the subway station was conducted, and problems existed in the facilities management at subway station were summarized. These problems include that facilities inspection is low of efficiency and hard to supervise, that facilities on site are hard to locate, that handwritten records of inspection and maintenance are hard to find, easy to lose and unreliable and that manually find maintenance data of facilities is low of efficiency, etc. To solve the above problems, this paper analyzed the needs of the platform and proposed several methods, which includes that apply mobile terminal, build BIM-based operating and maintenance model of subway station, save electronic records of facilities inspection and maintenance and apply database in managing maintenance data of facilities. In consideration of the needs for subway station, this paper studied the BIM-based facilities management information model, and explained the concept of BIM-based facilities management information model at subway station. At first, the BIM software used currently was investigated and Autodesk Revit was chosen in this paper. Then the techniques of BIM modeling according to the characteristics of facilities management at subway station were studied, and facilities at subway station were classified according to the characteristics of method of family building in Autodesk Revit. And then the methods that how to further deepen the model, set parameter of facilities and data in facilities operation and maintenance at subway station and build a BIM-based operating and maintenance model were discussed. Finally, this paper attempts to use the statistics results of BIM count and traditional count, quantitatively comparing the different results of various parts of the project in two count methods, summing up some regular conclusions of BIM count, and giving some proposals of improving BIM's degree of fineness.Firstly, this paper takes a subway station as example to compare BIM count method with traditional count method, for a better understanding of the specific differences between the two count methods. Then, this paper adds up the different results of two count methods in different stations, analyzing the reasons for differences and summarizing some regular conclusions. For further comparisons,in addition to adding up the results of count, the statistics of two count methods' difference of the rate of missions, the rate of redundancies and the rate of amount difference is also needed. Finally, based on these statistics results, the factors that affect the fineness of BIM are summarized, and proposals of improving BIM's fineness degree are made.
