As a key component of mechanical transmission,rolling bearing has a key influence on the operation of the whole machine.With the development of bearing technology,the mixed ceramic rolling bearing has been paid more and more attention,and it also provides a development direction for the key friction technology of the hydraulic transmission and control system.In this paper,a ball-ring friction and wear tester was developed by ourselves,and the Si3N4 ceramic balls were paired with the 102Cr17Mo ring specimen or the 316L ring specimen to study the friction and wear mechanism of water lubricated mixed ceramic ball bearing under the high speed and light load.From the friction coefficient and experiment on the frequency of finite stress cycle,it is found that although the viscosity of the water is lower than the oil,which causes the lubrication performance is poor,the lubrication effect will still be formed under the condition of the high speed and light load,and the elastohydrodynamic lubrication effect is more obvious with the increase of speed.According to the durability test,102Cr17Mo has a considerable service life in fresh water lubrication,and its final wear forms are mainly fatigue peeling and pits,as well as corrosion cracks and corrosion cracks caused by corrosion wear.However in seawater,102Cr17Mo quickly appeared flake spalling caused by corrosive wear because of the corrosion of a large number of Cl-.The service life of 316L is very short in both fresh water and seawater,and its wear form is severe sliding friction caused by plastic deformation,as well as the abrasive wear and cutting pits caused by impurities in the water or seawater.Finally,based on the experimental results and related data,this article explores the design theory of the mixed ceramic rolling bearing for water hydraulic system and a NJ1026M ceramic cylindrical rolling bearing was designed.The material of the inner and outer rings is 102Cr17Mo and the material of roller is Si3N4.In the future,the bearing will be applied to the water hydraulic motor pump.
