In recent years,highway construction in China has gradually shifted to mountainous areas.Due to the complex geographical environment of mountain area,the use of small radius curve tunnel can make the route overcome local height difference and solve the problem of mountain expressway construction.At the same time,the small radius curve tunnel also has many traffic accidents.At present,there is no systematic research on small radius curve tunnel in China,and the research results can not meet the requirements of traffic safety guarantee.Therefore,it is necessary to further study the traffic characteristics and safety assurance technology of small radius curve tunnel in mountainous area.The small radius curve tunnel is defined From the three aspects :driving stability,visual distance and speed.The definition standard of small radius curve tunnel is put forward.Using traffic accident data,the distribution characteristics of tunnel traffic accidents are analyzed.Combining with the research results at home and abroad,the environmental characteristics and driving characteristics of small radius curve tunnel are analyzed.The 3D visual range calculation model of small radius curved tunnel is established.A simulated driving simulation experiment model is established to record and analyze driver's visual changes in different radius tunnels,and establish new dynamic viewpoint indicators.According to the traffic environment and the driver's visual characteristics of the small radius curve tunnel,combinated with the characteristics of the accident distribution,the corresponding traffic safety measures are put forward.Different treatment measures are proposed from four aspects: speed control technology,visual induction technology,entrance and exit setting technology and curve tunnel widening technology.The non symmetrical edge for small radius curve tunnel rate setting method based on visual characteristics is proposed;the small radius curve tunnel contour standard reasonable distance calculation method;put forward the tunnel transition section,guardrail and light green plants over setting methods;according to the analysis results of 3D horizon broadening the horizon calculation model.The research results in this paper have theoretical and practical significance for improving the safety protection technology of small radius curve tunnel in mountainous area and improving the safety of small radius curve tunnel,providing technical support for the safe operation of Mountainous Expressway in China.
