The carrier pile is an end bearing pile which is the main bearing capacity of the carrier.In recent years,it has developed rapidly with the advantages of high bearing capacity,simple construction technology,low cost and so on.At present,most of the researches on carrier piles reflect engineering case studies.There are few studies on bearing capacity and stress mechanism of carrier piles in terms of model test,and the theoretical system is not yet perfect.In this paper,the author with carrier huge bearing capacity of pile technology advantages and bright prospects for development as a starting point,through a large number of data analysis,combined with the existing theoretical system,on the carrier pile compaction compaction test,half a pile load test,the whole pile test,etc.The self-made model test box is used to systematically study the bearing behavior of the carrier pile,the forming mechanism of rammer and the compaction effect of the pile surrounding soil.In this paper,combined with on-site engineering test cases,through indoor model test,we have a comprehensive understanding of ramming expansion process,the forming rule of ram body,and the influence area of compaction soil.By loading the half pile model,the displacement,deformation and failure of the rammer under load are observed and fully observed.In the load test,the Q-S curves of the half pile and the whole pile Q-S curve are compared and analyzed.The characteristics of the bearing capacity of the carrier pile are summarized,and the pile forming mechanism of the carrier pile is revealed.With the numerical simulation,the stress and displacement clouds and the load settlement curves of the pile with different rammer diameter are obtained.Finally,the engineering example,model test and numerical analysis are combined together,which fully proves the reliability of the research results in this paper.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the problem,the original model test box is improved.The model box is equipped with the vertical loading device on the basis of visual visual.The vertical loading of any position pile in the model box can be realized by the vertical loading device.Compared with the existing loading box of geotextile model,the model box has the advantages of convenient operation,simple loading,accurate results and so on.(2)Through the ramming test of half pile,the forming law of rammer is observed,the failure mode of soil in the pile is observed and summarized,and the influence range of the compaction of the pile is determined.The half pile model is loaded,the load settlement curve is drawn,and the bearing capacity of the carrier pile is summarized.(3)In the whole pile test,the whole excavation of the tamping body and the test of the soil around the pile are carried out,and the range of tamping and expanding is determined,and the forming mechanism of the tamping body is revealed.By comparing the half pile test,the full pile load test,the load settlement curve and the time settlement curve are drawn to further confirm the bearing capacity of the carrier pile,which fully shows that the carrier pile is a kind of pile with excellent bearing performance.(4)Through numerical simulation,the bearing capacity of the carrier pile is analyzed.The conclusion is that the bearing capacity of the bearing pile increases with the increase of the volume of the tamping body,and the existence of the optimal diameter of the tamping body is verified.
