According to the national energy strategy deployment in the new era,the construction of pumped-storage power stations in China will enter a new wave of climax.However,compared to the conventional turbine unit,the pumped-storage unit has more frequent operating conditions.During this transition,the operating parameters such as water hammer pressure pulsation and unit speed affects each other,resulting in extremely large dynamic response values,which greatly threatens Pumping power station operation safety and stability.Without increasing the economic cost of the power plant,optimizing the rules for closing the guide vanes can greatly improve the control quality of the pumped-storage power station for the reversible units.It is extremely necessary to build a high-precision transition process model of the pumping unit and carry out research on optimization of the closing rules of the unit guide vane.Further,under the background of the rapid development of digital informatization today,hydropower stations have begun to develop towards remoteness,information,and intelligence.According to the engineering requirements,an advanced operation and maintenance integrated software application system including operational modules for monitoring,storage,simulation,and state assessment of unit operating status parameters is developed to provide auxiliary suggestions for the operation and maintenance staff of the power station to improve the level of the health management of hydropower stations,which is of greate theoretical guidance and engoneering application meaning.light of the above-mentioned engineering needs,this article mainly focuses on the following points:(1)To thoroughly and reliably obtain operational status data for pumped-storage power station units and main-auxiliary equipment,study the Modbus industrial communication protocol in-depth.After that,use Java high-level programming language to develop Modbus communication software module.At last,through the RS-485 bus connection NARI monitoring equipment interface,completed Power station field data communication and storage test.This will provide data support for the next step in the integration of model validation and status assessment business modules for pumping units.(2)Starting from the water diversion system,the pump turbine and the generator and load mathematical model,a transitional process model for the pumped-storage unit was established.The modified Suter transform is used to transform the full characteristic curve,which effectively solves the problems of overlapping,crossover,and distortion of the “S” characteristic area of the full-characteristic curve in the nonlinear interpolation model of pump-turbine hydraulic turbine.Using the characteristic line method to obtain the calculation results and compare it with the measured operation data,the correctness of the established model is verified,and a reliable model basis is provided for the study of power plant adjustment calculation and guide vane closure law optimization methods.(3)Selecting unit rotation speed and water hammer pressure as optimization objectives,considering the constraint conditions comprehensively,designing an optimizer combined with a multi-objective optimization algorithm,established a multi-objective optimization model of the unit's guide vane closing law;Utilizing the fuzzy function evaluation method to select the best compromise solution from the Pareto non-inferior solution under two conditions of water pump power off and 100% load rejection,the effectiveness of the proposed multi-target vane closing law optimization method was verified by comparison.(4)Focusing on the main research content of this article,designed the overall framework of the application system.Utilize the current mature JavaWeb development technology to develop and integrate advanced application systems including the main services of pumped-storage main-auxiliary equipments on-line communication,storage query,unit transient process simulation,status assessment and report management.Some of the theoretical results have been integrated into the state monitoring and fault diagnosis systems for large-scale pumped-storage power stations in China,and played an important role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the units.
