No matter in military or civil use,it is an increasingly popular method for USV(Unmanned Surface Vehicle)equipped with towed body to develop and detect the ocean.With the help of LALP(Launch and Recovery System),USV can load,launch,tow and recover towed body.Constrained to the small area of USV,heavy load of towed body and conditions of sea level,it requires the device of launch and recovery satisfying the demand of light weight,high strength and stability in the process of launch and recovery.According to the key points above,this paper innovatively proposes a new mechanism of portal structure.The main contents and methods of this paper are as follows:Filptly,we analyze the operational principle according to the research of launch and recovery mechanisms based on other platforms.We make a classification based on the formation of mechanisms and a comparison between the advantages and disadvantages.This part provides a mentality of design to towed body launch and recovery mechanism based on 10 t USV.Then,combined the constraints of USV with the key points of research,this part proposes a portal launch and recovery mechanism of towed body.We develop the three-dimensional design of the mechanism and make an analysis of static structure strength at the same time.Furthermore,this part optimizes the mass and strength of the structure by using relevant software based on the design of the mechanism and analysis of static structure strength.And it is good enough for the distribution of gravity to maintain the process of launch and recovery stable.Finally,this part conducts the simulation study and analysis of the kinematics and dynamics after the optimization of the launch and recovery mechanism.Acquiring the function of position change and the picture of equivalent stress and total deformation,the results satisfy the demands of big range and strength.The result of the research shows that fixed on the USV ground the mechanism can satisfy the demands such as near surface capture,structure stability,and achieve the task of launch and recovery of towed body.The research method of the paper is popular,which can provide ideas for other relevant research.The content of the paper also makes a good foundation for the task of launch and recovery towed body based on USV.
