In urban road networks,fuel consumption at the signalized intersection area is significantly higher than in other regions.Therefore,the vehicle speed guidance method aiming to reduce the bad driving behavior in the signalized intersection area and improve the fuel economy has become the research focus in the field of energy-saving driving.In this context,the paper proposes a vehicle speed guiding strategy and method for hybrid traffic flow through signalized intersections based on the vehicle networking technology.Through the speed guidance of the vehicle,it aims to reduce the fuel consumption of the vehicle in the intersection control area,and simulates and analyzes the design of the traffic strategy at the same time.The main work of the thesis is as follows:(1)This paper analyzes the application requirements and key technologies of realizing vehicle speed guidance at signalized intersections under the environment of vehicle networking.Based on this,it proposes a multi-vehicle coordinated speed guidance system architecture under the environment of vehicle networking.(2)By analyzing the driving behavior of the mixed traffic flow at the signalized intersection and aiming at the characteristics of the vehicle’s movement at the intersection,this paper proposes a decision model for multi-vehicle cooperative vehicle traffic at intersections,which is used to study the method of speed guidance under different decisions.Using the trigonometric function-based method to speed-guide the networked vehicles to reduce the number of sudden accelerations and sudden decelerations,which makes the speed-guidance curve of the networked vehicles more smooth;In the case of known speed guide curve of a network car,the car-following model is used to predict the speed curve of ordinary cars.The method allows the vehicle-speed-guided hybrid vehicle flow to increase the comfort during driving while reducing fuel consumption.(3)The paper designs the test plan for the proposed speed guiding strategy and method from two perspectives: traffic flow and vehicle penetration rate.We use MATLAB to simulate the multi-vehicle collaborative speed guidance scenario and design test scheme at the signalized intersection.The simulation results show that the multi-vehicle collaborative decision-making model can provide drivers with the correct decision-making information.Compared to traffic without speed guidance,the hybrid-vehicle traffic guided by the speed can effectively reduce the total fuel consumption of the vehicle in the speed guiding area of the signalized intersection.After assessing the fuel consumption performance of the vehicle through the fuel consumption model,it was found that the vehicle speed guiding strategy and method proposed in the paper can increase fuel economy by up to 21%,which achieves energy-saving speed guidance for mixed traffic in signalized intersection regions.
