With the development of urban public bicycles, shared bicycles and electric bicycles, the use of non-motorized vehicles is becoming more and more convenient.Non motor vehicle,as a kind of green, energy saving, healthy and flexible transportation, has a certain effect on reducing environmental pollution, reducing energy consumption and alleviating traffic pressure. However, due to the increase of motor vehicle ownership in recent twenty or thirty years, the non-motorized and pedestrian space is squeezing, which leads to the difficulty of non-motorized road space to meet the demand.Especially some parking road and bus station area,non-motor vehicle riding severely blocking and interference. At the same time, because of the small volume of non-motor vehicles, the rider often sees the seams inserted and drilled after being disturbed, causing traffic confusion, traffic delay and traffic conflict. Therefore,at the present stage,it is of great practical significance to pay attention to the riding problem of non-motorized vehicles and improve the travel environment of non-motorized vehicles. This paper takes the bus stations often passed in the non-motor vehicle travel as the key research area. From the two aspects of the non-motor vehicle's own characteristics and the environmental impact factors, this paper reveals the characteristics of the non-motor vehicle riding characteristics and the key influencing factors, and provides the corresponding theoretical basis for the improvement of the non-motor vehicle environment. The main work is as follows: first, the basic characteristics of bus stations and non-motor vehicles are analyzed, and the type and design standard of the bus stations, the bus stop characteristics, the vehicle characteristics of the non-motor vehicles, the characteristics of the riders and the use characteristics are summarized.Secondly, the method of combining human work and video survey is introduced. The riding characteristics of non-motor vehicles at public transport stations were investigated and statistically analyzed. The SPSS statistical software was used to analyze the characteristics of non-motor vehicle arrival distribution, velocity distribution, path distribution, traffic conflict and delay and so on,and the microscopic behavior rules of nonmotor vehicles were revealed. Then, taking the crossing behavior of riding behavior as the key research object, the Cox proportional hazards model of non motorized crossing behavior is constructed by means of survival analysis.Through the study of the potential factors of the cross line behavior, the results show that the 5 factors, the proportion of the bicycles, the volume of the motor vehicles, the width of the non motorized lane, the length of the bus stop, the long time of the passengers, have a significant influence on the non motor vehicle crossing behavior. The relative risk rate is used to discuss the significance of the influencing factors. The results show that the key factors which have greater impact on non motor vehicles are the width of the non motorized lane, the length of the bus stop and the flow of motor vehicles. Finally, based on the research results in this paper, the corresponding suggestions for improving the riding environment of non-motorized vehicles in the bus station area are put forward.
