As one of the basic five modes of transport,pipeline transport has been widely used in areas of industrial production,energy supply and so on.It plays an important role in today's rapid economic development.During the period of pipeline in service,leak monitoring for pipeline is a significant method to prevent pipeline failure and reduce the risk of pipeline operating,and that it is necessary for personnel engaged in pipeline management to be aware of knowledge of pipeline leak monitoring and have a command of controlling and operating pipeline transport.From the perspective,through the transient flow analysis of pipeline operating typical conditions and the leak monitoring method of negative pressure wave and flow balance combination,this study builds an integrated scenario simulation experimental system on pipeline leak monitoring by virtual-actual combination,which provides a good learning and operation platform for experimental teaching and personnel training of pipeline transport safety management.In the meantime,this study designs a set of leak detection and location algorithm to provide an effective solution for the leak monitoring of experimental system,and it has a positive significance of academic research and engineering practical value.In this paper,the main works and researches are as follows:Firstly,this paper outlined the research background and significance,summarized the current domestic and international research status of pipeline leak monitoring system and concluded the development trend of pipeline leak monitoring system.Also,according to the research,the paper provided an overview of the pipeline simulation technology and the simulation experimental system.Secondly,based on the pipeline fluid mechanics theory,this paper constructed a model of transient flow in pipeline,three typical working conditions of simple pipeline as sudden leakage,head pumps drive and end valve closed have been researched.The research illustrated that under different operating conditions,the pressure and flow value of the head and end of a pipeline have different trend along with the change of time.Thus,it is feasible in theory for the pipeline leak detection according to the waveform characteristics of pressure and flow value.Thirdly,this paper chose negative pressure combined with flow balance method as the leak detection method of this experimental system,by comparing the relevant evaluation indexes of pipeline leak detection methods.According to the detection principle of negative pressure method and flow balance method this paper analyzed the key issues about leak detection method and proposed the solutions.Fourthly,this paper designed and developed an integrated scenario simulation experimental system on pipeline leak monitoring.This system can realize multiple functions such as dynamic guiding,user management,parameter configuration,real-time monitoring and control,data storage,query and printing,scenario simulation,leak detection and location calculation and alarm,it provides a friendly experimental and training platform for students to learn knowledge of pipeline leak monitoring and basic operation of pipeline transport.Fifthly,combined with signal processing methods of the wavelet analysis,correlation analysis and flow difference analysis,this paper designed a set of pipeline leak detection and location algorithm.According to the experimental test consult,that algorithm is feasible to be used in pipeline leak detection and location analysis on this experimental system.
