The dredged soil and waterway of our country produce a lot of mud every year, but the total utilization rate is less than 20%.Mud is characterized by fine particles and low permeability. The long consolidation time of traditional drainage consolidation technology is difficult to meet the needs of engineering construction. The treatment of dredged sediment by electroosmotic method can cause soil cracking and uneven settlement and so on.In view of the above problems,This paper takes the sediment of Baiyangdian River as the research object, electroosmosis method was optimized by the research. The main conclusions as follow.1.Comparison test results of the combined application of intermittent electricity and electrode conversion technology shows :(1)when used in combination, the comprehensive treatment effect is better from the angle of water content, unconfined compression strength and settlement observation.(2)It is not suitable to cut off power during the cycle, between cycles is better.(3)It is better to control half the time of the electrode conversion.(4)Soil cracking can be effectively suppressed by voltage.(5)The quantity and size of soil cracks can be reduced, and the uneven settlement of soil can be reduced.2.The combined drainage consolidation test shows that :(1)Compared with the pure electroosmosis method and the traditional drainage method, the combined drainage consolidation method has obviously improved the effect of soil treatment.(2)To a certain extent, the problems caused by the increasing resistance of soil cracking, poor drainage, uneven distribution of strength and uneven settlement are solved in the process of electroosmosis.
