Breathing is one of the body's most important physiological activities,and the body can acquire oxygen continuously from the outside through breathing,which can supply oxygen for daily life and maintain normal body temperature.The number of breaths per unit time is called respiratory rate.Respiratory signal plays an important role in human physiological signal detection systems,it is a very important indicator of whether a person can normally exchange gas with the outside world,and whether their cardiopulmonary function is good or bad.A large number of studies have shown that the PPG contains information which concerning about breathing.By studying its characteristics,the respiratory components can be extracted and non-invasive detection of respiratory frequency can be achieved.Clinically effective detection of respiration can not only detect diseases in the respiratory system and lesions in the cardiovascular system in advance,but also provide effective prevention.And it also can provide a reliable reference for the treatment of SAS,understand the trend of the disease.Combined with the current status of clinical respiration detection instruments,this thesis designs an ARM-based respiration detection system based on the characteristics of pulse waves.The detection system has many advantages such as simple operation,stable performance,and continuous use.The main research works are as follows:1.Introducing the forming process of pulse wave.Analysizing the measuring principle of PPG with ptics point.Introducing the common methods of clinical respiratory detection and analysizing the possibility of calculating the respiratory frequency from the PPG.2.This article proposes the overall design of the system based on the study of the relationship between respiratory signal and PPG.selects the hardware platform,determines the operating platform of ARM9 and Linux,designs the filter circuit and th trap circuits.3.Building a complete embedded system,including transplanting th Bootloader,configuring and compiling the kernel as well as the production of th root file system.Introducing the architecture of char drive briefly and completing the design of A/D and LCD.4.Introducing the theory of the two kinds of non-stationary signal analysis methods,including Mallat and EMD,analysizing the difficulties and completing the design of these methods,making them have portable function.5.Designing and debugging the software and the hardware of the entire system,after the experimental verification,we achieved the desired functions in this instrument.
