Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)is a new type of work pllatform with the ability to fly autonomously and execute missions.It plays an important role in the field of military and civil field.Ultraviolet(UV)Communication was a communication mode used 200nm-280nm wavelength ultraviolet light as an information carrier.It has the advantage of all-weather operations,non-line-of-sight(NLOS)communication with a wide field and strong anti interference ability etc.At the same time,with the wide application of all kinds of low altitude aircraft,the security issues are more and more prominent.This paper aiming at the safety problems of autonomous landing and formation flight of low altitude aircraft such as UAV and unmanned helicopter(UH).Based on the advantages of solar blind wireless UV communication,the positioning method of wireless UV guide UAV is studied.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1)The requirements of ranging and positioning technology for UAV in low altitude flight guidance are analyzed,A wireless UV ranging algorithm based on Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI)is proposed.The formula for calculating the transmission distance under Line-of-Sight(LOS)and NLOS communication mode is derived.Wireless UV ranging experiments was carried out under different weather conditions.The experimental results show that the wireless UV ranging algorithm based on RSSI has high precision,the ranging accuracy can reach 0m?7m,and it can meet the requirements of UAV flight guidance at low altitude.The three-dimensional localization algorithms based on Angle-of-Arrival(AOA)and the four node can be used to locate the UAV in the low altitude environment,and it can provide safe guidance for the UAV flying and autonomous landing.(2)According to the model of UV single scattering link model with height difference,an autonomous landing guidance method for UAV is proposed.The signal strength of the UAV landing on different heading angles is analyzed.For the UAV formation network based on wireless UV communication,the RSSI localization algorithm is used to locate the nodes in the formation.The location accuracy of nodes in two and three dimensional UAV formation networks can reach more than 90%,and the average localization error is small.The simulation results show that the wireless UV ranging and positioning algorithm can solve the problem of node location in UAV formation,so as to realize formation maintenance and anti-collision,and ensure the safety of UAV formation flying.In summary,the wireless UV ranging and positioning algorithm have high precision,which can provide theoretical guidance and technical support for the UAV low altitude flight safety guidance.
