| Traditional Chinese medicine is one of the three quintessence of China which has a long history for thousands of years.It is also one of the most influential disciplines in China.The demand for traditional Chinese medicine and herbal has been improved with the development of the society and the continuous progress of science and technology.Traditional Chinese herbal medicine has changed to a new modern Chinese herbal pieces,hence the small package of traditional Chinese herbal emerged.Small package of Chinese herbal pieces is a new package type of traditional Chinese herbal pieces in recent years.It has been widely used in medical institutions in the past decade,which has been popularized by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Currently,most of the pharmacists deal with small package of Chinese herbal pieces by counting packages which could lead to some disadvantages such as high labor cost,low dispensing efficiency,easy to make mistakes and long waiting time for the patients.Therefore,aiming at improving storage and dispensing methods of small package of Chinese herbal pieces,it is necessary to design and implement an automatic medical equipment,which can reduce labor intensity,reduce labor cost and improve herbal storage along with dispensing efficiency and accuracy.In this paper,according to the actual application dealing with small package of Chinese herbal pieces in pharmacy,combined with the existing products and research results,a new automatic medicine cabinet for small package of Chinese herbal pieces was designed and implemented,which makes herbal pieces dispensing more accurately through assembling,installation and debugging.The design of medicine cabinet for automatic dispensing system of traditional Chinese medicine mainly consists of two parts: mechanical structure and application program.The mechanical structure design adopts a double layer structure,which has various mechanisms including herbal storage,pushing,conveying,height limiting and counting.The design of control system mainly includes the construction of hardware platform and the writing of application program.First,this article divides the main function modules of the control system according to the functional requirements of the medicine cabinet for automatic dispensing system of traditional Chinese medicine,and then build the hardware platform and write the application program for each function module.After the whole design is completed,the prototype machine assembly,hardware selection,electrical connection and program loading are carried out.Finally,the basic function and performance of the whole medicine cabinet for automatic dispensing system of traditional Chinese medicine are tested.In addition,for the purpose of verifying the application of this medicine cabinet for automatic dispensing system of traditional Chinese medicine to the overall dispensing process in automated pharmacy,this paper also set up an automatic dispensing system testing platform which contains 15 medicine cabinets to carry out joint debugging.The design and application of the medicine cabinet for automatic dispensing system of traditional Chinese medicine integrates a variety of advanced technologies such as machinery manufacturing and automation,electrical engineering and automation,embedded system development,multi-sensor information fusion control,network communication,etc.It ultimately makes Chinese herbal pieces dispensing accurately and automatically,improves the dispensing efficiency of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions effectively as well as reduces labor costs and solves various drawbacks in traditional dispensing methods.After a rigorous performance test for further improvement and optimization,the medicine cabinet for automatic dispensing system of traditional Chinese medicine runs in a steady state,but it is still in the stage of experimental research and has some improvement space and development potential when applying to the automated pharmacy. |
