Many famous and large enterprises in the world have experienced the process from prosperity to decline.Even the Top 500 enterprises such as Motorola,GE,and Ford have failed to always maintain high performance.Therefore,it is very important to find a suitable management innovation method for the enterprises to maintain continuous improvement.In this paper,taking the contradictory problem encountered in the packaging process of H enterprise as an example,the extension innovation method and Six Sigma(6?)management model are combined,to improve or redesign the process.According to the Six Sigma management model,the core process and target are defined,the key indicators in the process are measured,the data are analyzed and the problems are explained.Through modeling,expansion,transformation and goodness evaluation,we get a better strategy.The results show that the advantages of integrating the two methods can effectively solve the problems encountered by enterprises in process innovation,improve product quality and reduce the work cycle.We also summarize the methods and processes of combining the two methods to solve the contradictions encountered in the process.The main research work in this paper is as follows:1.According to the Six Sigma management model,from the perspective of customers,we study the real needs of customers,define the core products and targets,then identify the core product packaging process by creating SIPOC table,select the critical packaging process evaluation index,and measure the core product packaging flow process.The data of the measurement is analyzed,the problems that may exist in the product packaging process are pointed out,the extension model of the problem and the core problem are established,and the corresponding correlation functions are established by using the three key elements in the OEE method to calculate the compatibility of the problem.2.We use the extension analysis method to study the cause of the problem,expand possible paths that may solve the problem of the process;then we use the extension transformation method to obtain various strategies to solve the incompatible problems in the packaging process and the comprehensive compatibility function is employed to calculate the extension strategies that meet the requirements.3.According to the field knowledge and the suggestions of experts,we select the measurement index and corresponding weight coefficients,establish the independent function of each measurement index,and use the method of superiority evaluation to evaluate and optimize the extension strategies that meet the requirements,further forming definite design schemes.Finally,standard control system is established to maintain the performance of the enterprise's new process.4.Integrating the advantages of extension innovation method and Six Sigma management model,we improve the packaging process of H enterprises,and summarize the general methods and processes.The main innovations of this paper are as follows:1.For the first time,we combine the extension innovation method with the Six Sigma management model to form a new method and apply it to the improvement of product packaging process.Since a single application of Six Sigma management model has great disorder and randomness,using the Six Sigma management model alone in the process of innovation is not only inefficient but also difficult to generate innovative processes.By integrating the advantages of the two methods,we can solve the problem of process innovation more effectively.2.According to the Six Sigma management model,in the stage of improvement,a formal and quantitative method is used to generate the incompatible problems in the product packaging process.This method is more pertinent and more efficient to solve the problem of process innovation.This research provides a new way for the improvement or redesign of packaging process.Taking H enterprise as an example,the packaging process is improved.The results show the effectiveness of this method,which embodies the advantages of the integrated extension innovation method and Six Sigma management model in solving the incompatible problem in the production process.
