Lubrication is a important performances of traditional hydraulic transmission medium,but the traditional hydraulic medium under high temperature and load film forming ability is weak,easy to cause hydraulic components friction pairs wear,causing system failure.With the continuous improvement of the research on the lubrication of MF and its wide application machinery industry,it is possible to use water-based NiFe2O4 magnetic fluid instead of the traditional hydraulic medium to improve the lubrication conditions.In this paper,the research status of the types and main properties of traditional hydraulic media and the research of magnetic fluid lubrication are introduced.it is proposed to use magnetic fluid as a hydraulic medium.The advantages of magnetic fluid lubrication are expounded from the theoretical and experimental aspects.In theory,the lubrication and lubrication equation,magnetic fluid lubrication mechanism,and analyzes the stator-blade lubrication,lay the theoretical foundation,using magnetic fluid hydraulic medium to solve the problem of blade and stator pair wear;in test,first to study the stability and viscosity of settlement,preparing water-based NiFe2O4magnetic fluid through two step method with dispersant,viscosity reducing agent,temperature,and magnetic field as the influence factors,choose the settlement stability,viscosity of magnetic fluid to traditional hydraulic medium.Then from the aspects of test methods,equipment,instruments,tools,characterization and influence factors such as drawing up the test plan,which characterize the amount of friction coefficient and wear rate,the influence factors include dispersant,viscosity reducing agent,basic liquid,concentration,magnetic induction intensity,load,speed and time.taking 46#hydraulic oil as matched group.Finally,according to the test results and their mechanism,the optimum conditions about lubrication of magnetic fluid are obtained;the property has a certain advantage compared with the hydraulic oil in magnetic field.
