Architectural scholars are important individuals in the study of architectural history whose academic thoughts and achievements make an great influence on the development of architectural history.Doing research on their academic thoughts not only helps understanding both the development process and the inherent law of architectural academic in their time,but also contributes to exploring the relationship between personal academic research and social background.Furthermore,It provide further theoretical and methodological guidance for academic research in the architecture field.From the perspective of the development of architectural historiography,the study of academic thought of architecture scholars is relatively short,which is worthy of attention and timely remedy.Therefore,this thesis chooses Mr.Jiang gaochen as the research object.As an important figure in the development chain of Yunnan architectural historiography,his academic research has a role to play in the development of the history of architectural history in Yunnan.The study of his academic thoughts is not only of groundbreaking value,but also has important guiding significance for deepening architectural history research and education in Yunnan area.This thesis systematically collates and studies the academic history,thoughts and achievements of him.On the basis of detailed reading of the relevant monograph of him and the relevant oral interview information,this thesis start the discussion in chronological order.Firstly,it systematically combed the growth,study and work experience of Mr.Jiang.Secondly,from the perspective of social history and the background of the times,the thesis divides his academic research process into three periods:preliminary exploration,expansion and sublimation.The research activities in different times reflect different academic viewpoints and achievements,so as to make different thoughts have continuous changes and development.And then,the thesis elaborates and expatiates the methods and ideas of the research and application of Mr.Jiang.Finally,the thesis summarized and analyzed the influence of the characteristics of his academic thought.
