Research On The Practice Of Lingnan Architecture Since 90s

Lingnan architecture began to sprout from the 30 s of last century.Through the joint efforts of several generations of Lingnan architects in the 80 s of the last century,,it has developed into a mature School of architecture that inherits the characteristics of Lingnan regional culture.A large number of architectural works highlight its unique architectural style: environmental treatment according to local conditions,design techniques of large public construction combined with garden,permeable space handling in regional environment,rational and pragmatic technical view,and decoration with local characteristics.Since 90 s,with the deepening of reform and opening and the development of the national market economy system,the practice of Lingnan architecture has entered a new stage.on the one hand,the number of architectural practice in Lingnan area is large,but the systematic architectural heritage of Lingnan is gradually fading and its form is diversified..On the other hand,Lingnan Architechture are growing from Guangzhou to other cities in Guangdong and Guangxi.Academician Jingtang He,as a representative of Lingnan Architecture,has done a lot of architectural practice nationwide.Combing and studying the practice of Lingnan Architecture since 90 s,it is helpful for us to have a clear understanding of the development status and spiritual essence of Lingnan Architecture.This article uses the architectural practice works of Lingnan Architecture since 90 s as the research object,and studies the three parts from the characteristics of practice,the thought of practice and the motivation of practice.The first part focuses on the induction of the characteristics of the practice case,and summarizes the practical features since 90 s from 5 aspects: the relationship with the environment,the space treatment,the shape shaping,the technology use and the detail decoration.A large number of architectural practice embodies the thought of architecture practice.The second part interprets the thought embodied in the Lingnan Architecture practice from four aspects: the respect for the regional cultural tradition of Lingnan,the organic harmony based on the people,the simple and natural green ecology and the integration and innovation of the multiculture.The practice and thought can not be separated from the background of the times.The third part interprets the development motivation of Lingnan Architecture from the economic development,the reform of the system,the blend of culture and the self development of Lingnan Architecture creative group.On the basis of the above research,compared the practice of Lingnan Architecture in 90 s with the whole process of the development of Lingnan Architecture,its form and style have changed,but it is always a design thought which is rooted in regional culture and keeping pace with the times.Compared the practice of Lingnan Architecture since 90 s with the practice of architectural creation in the whole country,the design concept of regional culture has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and Lingnan Architecture has been imported into multiple architectural culture.The article hopes to clear practice of Lingnan Architecture since 90 s,and present a complete development process of Lingnan Architecture with the previous research on it,to clarify the ideological connotation of Lingnan Architecture and its significance for the construction of the prosperity of the whole country.
