The hydraulic system is widely used in multi-actuator equipments due to its high power density and high robustness.Currently,their electro-hydraulic proportional control system usually use a common source with one pump or multi-pump,selected by peak pressure and flow rate required.However,the actuator is always working in part loads as well as different actuators in different load conditions which would cause large throttling and overflow losses.Multi-level pressure system is a novel hydraulic system and had a distinct advantage of energy saving.Aiming at the different energy state(energy accumulation,energy shortage and moderate energy)of each pressure rail When the actuator works in Multi-level pressure source system,energy transfer unit(ETU)is proposed to regulate and control the energy of each pressure rail,to balance the different rails energy and guarantee the high precision control of actuator.Therefore,the pressure control characteristics and energy consumption characteristics of the energy transfer unit are the key to achieve the smooth operation of Multi-level pressure energy regulation system.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First,Multi-level pressure energy regulation system was introduced;Based on lots of investigations,the research and application of the hydraulic energy transfer unit at home and abroad is introduced.Secondly,taking Multi-level pressure energy regulation system as the object,the working principle and energy states of Multi-level pressure system is introduced.Meanwhile,the matching rule of the energy transfer unit with Multi-level pressure source was given.Then the mechanism of Multi-level pressure energy regulation system is modeled,which lays a theoretical foundation for the subsequent simulation and experiment.Then,the efficiency of energy transfer unit in different rotational speed and different displacement is tested,and the efficiency parameters are provided for simulation.Finally,Multi-level pressure energy regulation system of the slope input pressure control characteristics,pressure when faced of pressure levels switching and control characteristics of position controlled system during energy recovery were analyzed via simulation and experiment.The Multi-level pressure energy regulation system and research results proposed in this paper are expected to lay a foundation for the theorem of energy saving and the application of energy control system in the multi-actuator system.
