| Ultrasonic cleaning has advantages of high cleaning quality, high speed, not limited by the complex shape of the parts being cleaned and easy to implement remote control and automated cleaning. It is currently widely used in surface spray coating, machinery, medicine and semiconductors etc.In the ultrasonic cleaning application, the most concern is the cleaning effect. The cleaning effect is closely related to the sound field distribution in the cleaning tank, and the sound field distribution in the cleaning tank depends on the number and arrangement of the transducers. In response to this problem, the sound field distribution in the cleaning tank was studied through theory and experiments. The specific contents are as follows:Firstly, using the Huygens principle, the radiated sound field of the transducer is analyzed theoretically, and the calculation formula of the sound field distribution of the center axis and the far field of a single transducer is deduced. It can be seen that the sound intensity decays inversely with the distance, and the intensity attenuation is different in different directions at the same distance. At the symmetry plane of the two transducers, the superimposed sound intensity of the two transducers equals the sum of the sound intensities of the two transducers alone.Secondly, the experimental research on the radiated sound field of a single transducer is performed.Through preliminary analysis,it is known that the radiated sound field of a single transducer exhibits axisymmetric distribution on the central axis. The MATLAB language programming software was used to perform a regression analysis on the radiation field of a single transducer, and the fitting formula for the sound intensity at different positions was obtained. Finally, experimental studies were performed on the superposition of the sound fields of two transducers. The contrast between the sound field superimposed by two transducers and the radiated sound field of a single transducer was analyzed. It was found that the sound intensity was significantly increased in the middle of the two transducers, and the increase in sound intensity in other regions was not significant. With the increase of the center distance between the two transducers, the area of the area where the sound intensity increases obviously remains unchanged.Using MATLAB software, regression analysis was performed on the test data, and the superposition law of radiation fields of two transducers was obtained. |
