Rotary drilling rig is a kind of mechanical equipment specializing in the drilling of large diameter pile foundations,mainly used for the construction of buildings,roads and bridges.Compared with the manpower drilling,it has some advantages of high power,fast speed,small vibration,low noise,safety and environmental protection etc.With the continuous increase in the scale and difficulty of China’s infrastructure projects,rotary drilling rigs have been widely used,and more demands have been placed on their product categories and work performance.It is of great practical significance to analyze and optimize the structure of rotary drilling rig by using finite element method.This article first summarizes the development status of the rotary drilling rigs at home and abroad and the research background of the topic.Then the XR220 D rotary drill rig is used as the research object.The APDL language in the ANSYS finite element analysis software is used to complete the establishment of three-dimensional parametric finite element model of rotary drilling rig.Combining with the structural characteristics and working environment of this type of rotary drilling rig,the typical analysis working conditions are confirmed,and the static analysis of the established finite element model is performed to obtain the displacement and stress distribution of each main structural part.After that,the stress test experiment is carried out on some typical analysis conditions of the rotary drilling rig,and the test results are compared with the finite element analysis results to verify the correctness of the developed finite element model.Finally,according to the results of finite element analysis,the structure improvement and dimension parameter optimization are carried out to meet the structural rigidity and strength requirement.The research plan of this article has effectively improved the mechanical properties of the XR220 D rotary drilling rig,improved the efficiency of simulation analysis at the same time.Some of the results have been adopted and used by the enterprise,providing research ideas and calculation basis for the design and development of the same type rotary drill rig.
