As the development of China's economy,the urban traffic congestion has become a serious problem restricting the development of the city.Therefore,we need to find a way to alleviate urban traffic pressure.In the current environment,the development of urban rail transit is the most feasible way integrated all aspects of factors.Metro as the most important urban rail transportation vehicle,with its high speed,low consumption,low pollution,safe and comfortable,and a series of advantages,becomes more and more popular.With the extensive application of the metro,it has made higher demand on its weight reduction.Without changing the material of the car body,the structure of the car body can be a reasonable optimization design to achieve the purpose of lightweight,in order to meet the increasing design demand.This paper briefly introduces the development and current situation of aluminum alloy metro car body at home and abroad,and the development of finite element simulation and structural optimization.Taking the aluminum alloy metro car body as the research object,the structure of the car body is fully understood,the geometric model of the car body is established,and the proper simplification is made.Then,the welding method of the car body is simulated and the most suitable simulation method is selected.Based on its structure and force characteristics,the finite element simulation model of the car body is established.The finite element simulation analysis of the aluminum alloy car body is carried out.According to the standard EN12663-2010,the simulation results of the corresponding conditions are verified,and the strength,stiffness,mode and fatigue of the car body meet the requirements.Compared with the yield strength of the material,the stress of each part of the car body has a considerable margin,which provides the basis for size optimization of the metro car body.By using OptiStruct optimization software,the thickness of the cross section of the car body is optimized based on continuous variables and discrete variables.The optimization results are analyzed and compared,and a relatively reasonable optimization scheme is obtained.The car body weight is reduced by 0.292 t.At last,The strength,stiffness and modal of the optimized car body are carried out to determine the correctness and feasibility of the lightweight scheme.The results of this paper provide some theoretical basis for the design and improvement of aluminum alloy metro car body in China.
