In recent years,with the rapid development of China's railway industry,locomotive carrying capacity is also constantly improve and the rapid development of the locomotive puts forward higher requirements for the reliability of the gear transmission system.Now the locomotive traction gear widely uses helical gear,but the spiral bevel gear has better carrying capacity and the transmission is more stable,therefore,in this paper,according to the actual working conditions of the locomotive traction gear,the design and calculation and contact analysis of a branch of the spiral bevel gear-Klingenberg cycloid bevel gear(hereinafter referred to as the cycloid bevel gear)are studied.This paper studies the processing theory and the calculation of the machine tool adjusting parameters of cycloid bevel gear,and derives the expressions of cycloid bevel gear tooth line,and establishes the three-dimensional model of pair of cycloid bevel gear by using tooth line curve and the theory of tooth profile curve,and performs assembly simulation and interference check.By using the finite element method to do the static contact analysis of cycloid bevel gear,using the finite element method and theoretical method to calculate the contact stress and tooth root bending stress of cycloid bevel gear and to check the strength.The meshing characteristics of the cycloid bevel gears in a meshing period are analyzed,and the variation of contact stress in a meshing cycle is obtained,and the stress state of the gear in the meshing into and out position is obtained.The shape of contact area,the size of contact ellipse and the variation tendency of gear stress under different load are studied.The influence of assembling error of cycloid bevel gears on contact state and stress is studied.Study on the influence of assembly error of two gear shaft,small axial displacement assembly error,big axial displacement assembly error and shaft angle assembly error on gear transmission effect.Study on the influence of both assembly error of two gear shaft and big axial displacement assembly error on the gear contact.The combined effect will superimpose or cancel the stress value of the gear.The final gear stress value depends on the effect of stress of the error on the gear stress degree.The modal analysis of the large gears and small gears is carried out,and in the first 10 order natural frequencies and the main modes are obtained.Calculate the minimum critical speed of pinion and large gear according to the formula of the meshing frequency of the gear pair.In the 3-tooth meshing area and the 2-tooth meshing area,the modal analysis of the cycloid bevel gear assembly is carried out,and the natural frequency of the gear pair in the meshing area of the 3 tooth is greater than that of the 2 tooth meshing area.Do the pre-stress modal analysis of the cycloid bevel gear,and the natural frequency of the gear is increased when the pre-stress is applied.
