In recent years,the maintenance task of the train depot is more and more arduous.However,the existing traditional production management methods can not get the goal that achieving high quality of centralization of control and informationization level.The main reason is the lack of the monitoring of equipment,materials and energy,which is lending to be unable to find and deal with the abnormal situation in the production process in time.This phenomenon not only seriously affects the work efficiency,but also causes serious damage to the quality of train running,which tends to threaten public transport safety.Therefore,a scheme that using the wireless ad hoc network technology to achieve the production data collection and transmission is proposed in this thesis,which is aming at the problem of low degree of information and poor centralized control in the production process of the train depot.In this thesis,the related technologies of wireless ad hoc networks such as topology and routing protocol are studied.First of all,in this thesis,there are two aspects are presented: the background and significance of the thesis and the features and application cases of wireless ad hoc network.It is proved that the monitoring scheme that using the wireless ad hoc network technology to monitoring equipment status,material information,and associated energy information in the depot is theoretical and practical.Secondly,Combined with the application requirements of the monitoring network in the special scene of the depot,the applicability of the wireless ad hoc network is analyzed and summarized.And according to the characteristics of network application,it points out the research direction in topology management and routing design.Thirdly,according to the characteristics of the geography distribution of the depot and the requirements of the wireless network topology,the applicability of the four classical topological structures is analyzed and compared.And a two level hierarchical cluster structure is applied to the network topology management of depot,which is to reduce the fleet of large-scale wireless network management difficulty.In addition,the network node is also designed.Then,three routing protocols' applications in the depot are described,and an improved clumping routing protocol which is based on link quality is proposed.The purpose of the improved protocol is to reduce energy consumption,prolong the network lifetime and improve the transmission reliability.Finally,after the simulation of the improved protocol in MATLAB,a comparison is made between the protocols and two traditional protocols.The result shows that the improved protocol is better than the other two traditional protocols in network lifetime,system throughput and packet loss,so it can meet requirements of the network transmission reliability in the depot.And a support for the information process of the depot is provided by the protocol transplant.
