The solenoid cartridge valve is the pilot valve of the main directional valve.Under the limitation of the original structure size,reducing the flow path pressure loss of the valve can improve the work efficiency.In this paper,the structure of the solenoid cartridge valve was designed,the manufacturing technique and the assembly process of the solenoid cartridge valve were researched,the stress and deformation of the coil brace was analyzed.In this paper,the formula of flow path pressure loss was used in calculation,and the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation software Fluent was used to analyze the flow path flow-pressure loss characteristics.Based on the results,the path structure of the valve has been improved.The application condition of calculation and simulation results was verified by the tests.This paper completed the following research works:The structure of the solenoid cartridge valve was designed,the manufacturing technique and the assembly process of the solenoid cartridge valve were researched,the dimension precision selection and tolerance calculation of the solenoid cartridge valve were carried out.The strength of coil brace was analyzed by ANSYS when it suffers winding tension and cutting force.Simulation results show that coil brace meets the strength and assembly accuracy requirement.(3)According to the structure dimension of the solenoid cartridge valve,the calculation of the flow path pressure loss was carried out with the empirical formula.The three-dimensional model of solenoid cartridge valve P-A、A-T flow path was built by using Solid Works software.Then,the ICEM CFD software was used to mesh its internal flow channel model and analyze the effect of the grid number on results.Computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation software Fluent was used to analyze the flow-pressure loss characteristics.The influence of valve port opening,shape of tapered hole,shape of flow channel and path diameter on flow-pressure loss characteristics was researched.The path structure of the valve has been improved.(4)The test bench of solenoid cartridge valve was built,it can test the flow-pressure loss and dynamic response characteristic of solenoid cartridge valve.The flow-pressure loss characteristic curves are obtained by the test.the results shows that calculation、simulation and test has a good consistency,The application condition of calculation and simulation results was verified by the tests.The dynamic response characteristic curves are obtained by the test.The response time of valve opening and closing was obtained.The valve carried out the high and low temperature test,endurance test,impulse test,vibration test,practical use test.The technical indexes meet the requirements of project assignment and the valve has good performance.
