Design And Research Of Virtual Music Museum Based On The Differences Of Sino-western Musical Characteristics

Music art is an art that is deeply rooted in the cultural soil.There are obvious differences in Sino-western musical arts.Due to the differences in Chinese and Western culture concepts and people’s aesthetic concepts,the characteristics expressed in the music elements are also different.To explore the differences in Sino-western musical characteristics,we will use mobile terminal and the design principles of embodied cognition and emotional design to make an interactive Virtual Music Museum.Let music lovers experience the aesthetic differences in Sino-western music,and explore a way to improve the user’s music literacy.The differences between Sino-western musical characteristics based on musical elements are mainly reflected in the following three aspects: First,melody elements.Chinese music pursues the natural harmony of five modes and twelve notes,and the Western music uses strict rational thinking to strictly calculate the twenty-four modes.Second,rhythm elements.Chinese music emphasizes the free improvisation of elasticity,and the Western music follows the mathematical logic of rhythm notes.The third is the texture element.The Chinese music monophonic texture conveys the beauty of the linear rhythm,and the Western music polyphony texture shows a rigorous and complex composing technique.The content design of the Virtual Music Museum is based on the differences in the characteristics of the above three aspects.The Virtual Music Museum is divided into four parts.First,the overall framework structure.Including product level design and interface interaction design,we will through the rich knowledge of music theory,comprehensive text description and exquisite interfaces show the differences in Sino-western traditional music aesthetics.Second,interactive design of melody.The twelve notes design of ancient China was demonstrated by the design of the playing simulation.The design of the ancient Greek string experiment and the calculation of the five-degree cycle was presented in the Western twenty-four modes.Third,the interactive design of rhythm.We will help users understand the elasticity of Chinese music with chanting music,and then through the interactive of the notes and music score of the six rhythm models to show the rhythm of Western music.Fourth,the interactive design of the texture.The interpretation of the linear beauty of Chinese single music melody in unison and solo,and the logic and rigor of Western polyphonic music compositions with the graphic design of crab Canon.The cooperation of the four parts is intended to create an immersive music experience for the user,to experience and understand the aesthetic differences in Sino-western music with the rich music material and interesting interaction design.Finally,starting from the three themes of sensory experience,interactive experience,and cognitive experience,the user’s behavior is observed and recorded through a simple laboratory user experience evaluation,and the user experience test metric table quantifies the test results,which will help improve and optimize the product design.In summary,based on the differences of music characteristics,design and research of Virtual Music Museum tries to performance the aesthetic differences between traditional Chinese music and Western music by using the new media interactive design method,which will enhance the user’s musical literacy through the rich music content and interesting interactive design.
