| The mechanical performance of reinforced concrete(RC)structural members was reduced due to Steel corrosion,especially for the RC column subjected to vertical forces.The mechanical performance of the spiral composite stirrup column is better than that of the ordinary compound stirrup,which has engineering application value.Therefore,based on the effect of steel corrosion on the mechanical performance of RC members is comparatively large and RC members with the composite spiral stirrups have better mechanical performance,it is very meaningful to study the mechanical performance of RC column with the spiral composite stirrups after the corrosion.In this paper,the axial compression behavior of reinforced concrete columns with circular composite spiral stirrups is studied before and after corrosion.In this study,the research object is the RC column with the spiral composite stirrups.The effect of stirrup corrosion on the performance of RC column with spiral hoops was taken as the breakthrough point.The influence of the stirrups corrosion rate on the axial compression capacity of the column is obtained by the combination of experimental method and finite element analysis.Finally,the prediction formula of the axial compression capacity of the RC column with spiral hoops under different corrosion rates is proposed.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The axial compression behavior of reinforced concrete square column with spiral hoops was studied by means of the axial compression test and the finite element method.The axial bearing capacity calculation formula of the reinforced concrete square column with spiral hoops was initially proposed.(2)The axial compression behavior of reinforced concrete columns subjected to the corrosion rate of different spiral stirrups was studied.The electrochemical accelerated corrosion test method was used to accelerate the corrosion of the reinforcements of the specimens.The axial compression performance of the reinforced concrete columns was analyzed and discussed.Finally,based on the proposed axial capacity calculation formula of the RC square column with spiral hoops and the damage coefficient of the influence of the steel corrosion on the axial compression performance of the RC column,the prediction formula of the axial compression capacity of the RC column under different corrosion rates is proposed. |
