Masonry structure is a structural system with a long history and many advantages. In recent years, masonry structure technology needs continuous innovation to adapt to the development of urbanization. In this process, reinforced block masonry shear wall structure has gradually become a new direction for the future development of masonry structure. In this paper, the finite element model of constrained core-column block masonry is established based on ABAQUS platform, and the mechanical properties of constrained core-column block masonry under axial compression with different design parameters are studied. The influence of design parameters on the peak stress, peak strain, proportional limit stress, proportional limit strain, structural energy dissipation capacity and elastic modulus of constrained core-column block masonry under different normal stresses is analyzed. In view of the above objectives,ABAQUS finite element software is used to establish a fine separation model for constrained core-column block masonry. The accuracy and rationality of the established finite element model are verified by setting a reasonable constitutive model, considering the interface interaction among the block, mortar and concrete, and the experimental data of existing scholars.Secondly, expand the parameter analysis of the verified finite element model, and analyze the factors that affect the axial compression performance of the confined core-column block masonry structure. In this paper,a total of 46 groups of confined core-column block masonry and 36 groups of hollow block masonry are completed. The experiment was loaded by displacement control to obtain a complete stress-strain curve. The stress nephogram shows that the block wall between the core column concrete and the two core columns can be cooperatively stressed. The strength of the block masonry can be improved and the energy dissipation capacity of the masonry structure can be improved by configuring the combined reinforcement form of the core column spiral stirrup and the tie beam horizontal reinforcement. Finally,by analyzing the finite element experimental results, combined with the results of other scholars, the axial compression state of confined core-column block masonry is summarized. The initial cracking performance of constrained core-column block masonry is analyzed.Through the analysis of the stress-strain curve of each experimental group, the influence of the strength of the core concrete, the strength of the block, the diameter of the spiral stirrup, the spacing of the spiral stirrup and the diameter of the horizontal reinforcement on the mechanical properties of the confined core column block masonry under axial compression is studied.
