With rapid development of automotive industry around the world,it's known to all the scholars and experts that there is a shortage of fossil fuels.Nearly all the people pay their attention to the development of new energy vehicles,and many specialists take methanol as an excellent alternative energy currently.The advantage of gas engine with dissociated methanol is that under making use of wasted heat of engine,it is effective to improve the in-cylinder combustion performance,economy performance and thermal efficiency of the engine.In this paper,a gas engine,Model A16,is turned into an engine with dissociated methanol and do a research of after putting it on an automotive named S30.An engine electronic control unit is set and it concludes controller hardware design,CAN bus coding,methanol reactor control strategy,coding a supervising and control UI and so on.First,the controller hardware design involve the circuit diagram design of main chip,executor,can bus communication,WIFI module,power supply module and sensor.And later PCB board is made up where electronic components are welded.So an intact package is completed.Second,based on the theory of CAN bus agreement and its application,it complete the communication between ECU and home-made MCU,and acquire real-time data in order to upload them.At last,embedded code based on STM32F103RCT6 chip and automatically generated methanol injection strategy based on SIMULINK and STATEFLOW are burned in PCB so that control strategy could be set down.The result shows that the thermal efficiency of engine with dissociated methanol is higher than that of original engine if speed is higher than 60km/h and rotational speed is higher than 2000 rpm.So combined with lean combustion,it could reduce oil consumption rate to 10%,to 18.5% at most.
