The efforts to save energy and to protect our living environment truly affect industry constantly nowadays.So the development of EV industry is an inevitable choice for us in the future of transportation industry.Green travel is going to be the future direction of the transport development.Based on Key Technical Research on the High Power Density and High efficiency Modularization Combined Multi-disc Permanent Magnet Motor System for Electric Vehicle supported by NSFC.This paper focuses on the design and realization of the multi-disc permanent magnet motor drive system.The goal is to establish an experiment platform with high versatility,applicability,high reliability,and then to carry out researches such as winding switching experiments.Aiming to design an experiment platform,the main contents of this paper include:Firstly,introduce the research background and development status of EVs.The research status and significance of multi-disc motor and its drive system are analyzed.In this paper,the control algorithm of the motor is studied.Secondly,develop a stable and reliable experiment platform for the multi-disc system.The main parts of the hardware circuits including rectifier,drive,inverter,voltage and current detection circuit,signal processing circuit,MCU peripheral circuit and encoder circuit are all studied,and then experiment platform is formed.Particularly,PFC is studied because of the low power factor of the system.The Boost PFC and the three-channel interleaved PFC scheme are simulated and experimented to verify themselves,and experiment platform is developed with a high PF.In this paper,the commutation current and torque shock are analyzed,then the control method of suppressing instantaneous current disturbance is studied.Finally,a lot of experiments have been carried out on it to verify the system design when finished the experiment platform.Particularly,it is important to carry out tests of system drive signal,back EMF test,motor phase current test,load test,and winding switching experiment of the multi-disc motor with different load condition.Then,summarize the whole paper,analyze the shortcomings of the researches and the future researches we should do to make an improvement.
