The servo system has been widely used in manufacturing industry.The monitor software running in host computer can be facilitate to debug the servo system.In particular,the real time monitoring function is helpful to get running status of the system,which can reduce failure occurrence and improve reliability of equipment.Existing supporting software for servo system can only achieve the basic setting and debugging function.It also faced the shortcomings,such as incomplete data collection,high communication channel utilization,access capability limitation.Therefore,it is difficult to meet the demand of long time monitoring.In this thesis,focused on the purpose of long-time monitoring on ac servo platform,a set of monitoring strategy including data access method based-on events and long-time monitoring operation process presented in the research.The supporting software running under Windows system and the interface module for implementing long-time monitoring in AC servo system are developed.Firstly,the control structure of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)is introduced.The main control information extracted by real time monitoring and the structure of the software system have also been analyzed.Based on the understanding of the servo system’s running status,a long-time monitoring strategy is proposed.It’s achieved through detecting the feature trigger event of running and using event packet to store the running data.A comprehensive study of the modules division,operation process,data management and communication protocol are conducted in detail for long-time monitoring system.Secondly,according to the control and monitoring requirements of the servo system,the supporting software functions are planned.The software architecture is outlined from system layer and the calling relations between modules are established on the base of running data to be interacted.The layer mechanism of the software is discussed in detail.The interface for each layers and the operation process for communication transaction are accomplished.In the Visual Studio development environment,a supporting software with friendly human-computer interface and reliable operation is developed using C# language.Finally,a practical experiment platform is built in this thesis which is used to verify the long-time monitoring function and the reliability of the supporting software.The experimental results show that the proposed monitoring system is able to achieve the detection of specific events and the storage of related running status data.The supporting software and the monitoring interface module in AC servo system is stable and reliable,which can satisfied the requirement of long-time monitoring.
