With the rapid development of the economy in today's society,the living environment of human beings is getting worse and worse.Air pollution is one of the most serious pollution problems,and automobile exhaust emission is a significant source of air pollution.In addition,coal and oil and other energy resources are continuously in high demand with the development of industry,leading to an energy crisis that has attracted the attention of governments around the world.Under the dual pressures of environmental pollution and energy crisis,the development and applications of electric vehicles is very important.The application of regenerative braking technology for an electric vehicle can not only facilitate energy recovery,but also improve the mileage of the car,which is of great significance to the popularization and application of electric vehicles.This dissertation is based on research projects involving a pure electric vehicle in Shenzhen City,Guangdong Province.This involved a series of experimental and theoretical research activities carried out on the braking energy recovery of a pure electric vehicle driven by an electric wheel.For research on the regenerative braking performance of the electric vehicle driven by a motor,we built an electric vehicle regenerative braking system test bench based on a DC / DC and super capacitor.The LABVIEW data acquisition software was used to establish the test bench control program,followed by a calculation for the determination of type and design selection of important parts.Furthermore,we designed a reasonable and reliable experimental scheme,and tested the performance of the main components based on the test bench.The tests included experiments to determine the characteristics of the wheel motor,,rectifying and feeding testing of the electric machine and performance tests of other key parts,including the braking energy recovery experiment.Experimental results show that the performance of the whole system and the main parts of the platform was reliable,and that the developed electric wheel comprehensive performance test bench can effectively carry out braking energy recovery with the energy recovery efficiency reaching 13%.The development of a regenerative braking test bench for a pure electric vehicle driven by wheel motor has created a good experimental condition for the follow-up research work of a pure electric vehicle.The formulation of the regenerative braking force control method for single electric wheel in the process of braking energy recovery is the foundation for a follow-up research on the brake control for the electric vehicle.
