Customer demand for mechanical and electrical products presents a diversified and personalized feature,while traditional design method of mechanical and electronic products can't meet customer needs.Moreover,products should be with good environmental performance due to the demand of sustainable development.So it is significant to study mechanical and electrical products green modular design.Product green modular design theory,product green module redesign method and green modular system development are studied in this paper.For the deficiency of green attributes in traditional green modular design,a green modular design model is put forward and component life cycle properties,design structure matrix,minimum description length clustering goals are described.In order to improve the module partition efficiency,hybrid algorithm of genetic algorithm-immune algorithm is taken to obtain the intelligent solution of two-component glue dispensing machine module partition.Comparison experiment demonstrates the hybrid algorithm has a better research performance.Variety index and change propagation index analysis are conducted for the green modules to conduct the modular product platform design.Conducting product redesign based on product green module redesign method is less.Therefore,Product green modular redesign method is implemented.Similarity and independence analysis are performed for function modules respectively to identify the components that need to redesign.Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Technique for Order Preferences by Similar to an Ideal Solution are adopted to evaluate the original product and the redesigned product.Result shows that the redesigned product is with a better green comprehensive performance.In order to promote engineering design workers efficiency and shorten the design cycle,green modular system development is introduced.The system possess four function,module programming,parametric design,data management and automatic assembly.
