With the continuous improvement of infrastructure construction in China,the requirement of detection means has been improved constantly,the traditional detection means is not enough to meet the needs of modern construction.Ground penetrating radar as a new nondestructive testing technology,because of its easy to carry,detection efficiency,real-time imaging,the results intuitive and other characteristics.At present,it is widely used in various testing fields.In the present research situation,GPR detection technology can efficiently and conveniently detect the information of pipelines,cavities and foundation defects under the ground,by observing the image of radar detection can be a qualitative understanding and analysis of the distribution in the foundation,but the study of the medium in the foundation soil is not comprehensive,The size of the object can not be analyzed quantitatively,so the severity of the foundation defects can not be judged,and the reinforcement scheme of the foundation is judged according to the severity.Therefore,it is necessary to deepen the study on the quantitative analysis of the ground defects in ground penetrating radar,in order to evaluate the foundation effectively and to take specific measures.In this paper,based on the previous experimental research on the detection volume of GPR,the author makes a further study on the defects of GPR in the Exploration Foundation by using the engineering practice.This experiment uses the 800 Mhz frequency central antenna ground penetrating radar,through the analysis of the detection waveform,collecting a large number of radar data and other parameters affecting the radar data,using MATLAB software for data fitting,to simulate the foundation of the embedded objects under the detailed information of the study and analysis,A mathematical structure model for calculating the detailed information of the probe is established.So we can judge and calculate the detailed information of the target body through the waveform of the GPR,and take some measures to prevent and remedy the defects in the foundation,so as to have aquantitative index to describe the weakness of the Foundation.The efficiency and quality of foundation detection are improved,and it is very important for engineering practical value.
