LED car headlights as a new generation of automotive lighting.Compared to traditional car lighting,LED lights have many characteristics such as energy saving and environmental protection,long life,low energy consumption,etc.making it loved and appreciated by the automotive industry.However,Junction temperature as an important indicator influencing the use of LED lighting.The junction temperature determines the lighting effect of LED lights.The current research on the junction temperature of LED lamp chips is mainly the design and research of the chip’s heat sink.However,in the actual lighting process of LED car lights,the junction temperature is usually affected by the operating environment temperature,the chip’s own structure,the chip input power,heat dissipation conditions and many other factors.Therefore,studying the effect of the combined factors on the junction temperature of the LED chip changes,for the ultimate reduction of LED lamp chip junction temperature,has an important significance.This article selects two kinds of composite factors by consulting the literature,composite factor one: LED lamp chip power and ambient temperature;composite factor two: LED lamp chip arrangement spacing and ambient temperature,to explore the LED chip junction temperature changes.In this paper,the corresponding experimental samples of LED lights were produced for the specific inquiry content of each composite factor.Through the constant temperature experiment platform,using the tube pin junction temperature measurement method,the article measured the junction temperature of LED lamp chips under the action of different composite factors.Experimental results show: For composite factors one: The smaller the power of the LED chip,the lower the junction temperature of the chip.With the increase of the ambient temperature,the growth rate of the junction temperature of the chip remains stable.The higher the power of the LED lamp chip,the higher the junction temperature of the chip and with the increase of the ambient temperature,the faster the chip junction temperature increases.For composite factor two: When the temperature is constant,changing the spacing between the LED lamp chips will affect the junction temperature of each chip inside the lamp.When the spacing is constant,the temperature of each chip rises slowly as the ambient temperature rises.Gradually become faster.In this paper,three-dimensional modeling software and finite element analysis software ANSYS workbench are used to complete the simulation of the thermodynamics of LED headlights under the action of composite factors.Comparing the simulation and experimental test results,the validity of the simulation was verified.Combined with the thermal simulation results of the LED lamp model,the internal mechanism of the influence of different composite factors on the junction temperature of the LED lamp chip was analyzed based on the heat conduction theory.After completing the research on the effect of different composite factors on the junction temperature of the LED lamp chip,using ANSYS workbench software,according to the results of the study,a proposal to effectively reduce the LED lamp junction temperature is proposed: On the one hand,through the redesign of the LED chip internal light source The dimension of the arrangement makes the junction temperature of the LED chip decrease by 9.468°C.On the other hand,by optimizing the position of the chip inside the LED lamp,the chip in the middle position and side position is reduced by 0.22°C and 0.65°C,respectively.In summary,this article mainly through the experimental and software simulation research methods,carried out the different composite factors on the LED lamp chip junction temperature of the study,based on the experimental results and finite element analysis results,the experimental phenomenon was explained.Corresponding optimization schemes are proposed to provide a certain basis for effectively reducing the LED junction temperature of the LED lamp.
