Research On Architectural Design Based On Reconstruction Of Loci Memory

In the process of rapid urbanization in our country,a large number of historic places with rich collective memories or individual memories have been destroyed,and some have even disappeared.Fortunately,with the continual awakening of historical and cultural protection and inheritance consciousness of the architectural profession and of all walks of life,and the continuous implementation of humanistic ideas in the architectural discipline,the architectural discipline is no longer just a part of today's urban development.As a result of the large-scale demolition and construction tasks,the frontline of the horse has begun to devote its efforts to the continuation and restoration of the site context and site characteristics.In today's architecture and its related fields,the call for “Loci Memory” has become a creative theme and even a guiding principle for a large number of architectural practices.This has caused architecture to start thinking seriously about the propositions of “Loci Memory”.The research content of this article is launched in the background of contemporary urban social development and academic thinking.Focusing on the central vocabulary of “Loci Memory”,it examines its role and significance in the construction of social culture and history from an interdisciplinary perspective.Explore ontological theories of Loci Memory,concrete representations in the environment of the place,and building strategies to reproduce the local memory,with a view to providing architecture with a place cognition method with “Loci Memory” as its core connotation.Reproduce place memory provides methodological reference.The first part begins with the study of the multidisciplinary theory of memory,applying the research results of memory on psychology and historical sociology to architecture to explain the mechanism of occurrence,reproduction and recognition of “Loci Memory” in the human brain.For the following analysis of the Loci Memory elements and propose relevant strategies to establish a scientific theoretical basis.At the same time,combining the theoretical perspectives of historical sociology,this article explore the characteristics of each small class are elaborated one by one.Finally,combined with the psychological theory and the author's project experience,this paper proposes four architectural representations of local memory in the form of locational memory as narrative clues,multi-dimension element extraction,feature collage and artistic conception creation.In the fourth part,based on the “Loci Memory” theory established in the previous article,the concept and design methods of scenes that can arouse scene memories are created for Chongqing Liangjiang Movie City project.Explained in detail from the location of the Liangjiang Movie City to the design of the overall spatial form,the selection and layout of the building types,and the reproduction strategies of the various aspects of the local memory elements,from the empirical point of view explain The rationality and practical significance of the " Loci Memory " theory is expected to provide reference for epistemology and methodology for thought,"memory" has gradually become a hot topic in this subject.Through the interpretation of the historical knowledge of "memory",this paper proposes the idea of establishing " Loci Memory " as the core connotation to replace the historical concept of place with "history" as the core of context.In addition,this article also calls for the explicit use of the “memory value” of a place as an independent type of value in architecture.
