Since the end of the 20 th century,the urban development of our country has been developing rapidly,the proportion of industrial electricity consumption has decreased year by year,and the electricity consumption of civil buildings has been increasing.Public buildings energy consumption accounts for about 50% ~ 60% of consumption in air conditioning system,and the energy consumption of air conditioning system mainly lies in the cold water system.At present in actual operation,the refrigeration unit is in partload running state for most time.Especially when adding and subtracting the motor,the refrigeration unit will be easy to be inefficiency.In low cooling load demand,the refrigeration unit will appear frequently start-stop,but pumps need to be running at the same time to make sure that the chilled water will cycle,so energy waste is coming.In this paper we use the chilled water storage to redistribute the whole day load,to adjust the operating efficiency of the refrigeration unit;and at the same time,we will change the operation principle of the pump,to reduce its running time and the energy consumption of pumps.We make up the system forms and the operation principle of the chilled water storage system by combining the chilled water storage technology,secondary pump unit and group control technology.And then we prove that the water storage system has the energy saving potential of regulating the cooling efficiency of the unit and reducing the energy consumption of pumps.In the application principle of chilled water storage system,the adjustment range of chilled water storage system is determined according to the application range,unit selection and operation characteristics of the unit and the number of units operating table,and then to determine the optimal storage capacity of the system in theory.Finally,we make a hotel in Chongqing as the actual Case,by using the DEST simulation software,the TRNSYS simulation software and MATLAB software,to conventional the model of secondary pump system and the chilled water storage system to study the energy saving effect and the related properties of the chilled water storage system.The simulation results show that the total operating energy consumption of the water storage system is 6.03% lower than that of the secondary pump system,and the shutdown rate of the pump is 16.5%,and the static recovery period is about 20 years and the economy is poor.According to the simulation results,the simulation analysis of 35 working conditions was carried out on the storage cooling rate,storage capacity and cooling cycle of the chilled water storage system,to study the optimization method of the chilled water storage system.The optimal result: the total energy saving effect of the chilled water storage is 5.6%,and the pumps outage rate is 15.7%,and the recovery period is about 9 years.According to the research on the optimization of the chilled water storage system,some Suggestions are given in the regulation range,cooling capacity,cooling rate and circulation strategy of the chilled water storage system.
