Study On Investigation And Recording Methods Of Architectural Heritage

In the description of the protection procedures in the “Guidelines for the Protection of Cultural Relics and Historic Sites in China”,investigation records are the basic link of the entire process,and many important international charters also interpret it from different perspectives.In addition,the investigation records are also of great significance for conservation planning and protection projects.Problems such as incomplete investigation records,non-standard processes,and low scientificity exist in the field of domestic architectural heritage protection.This situation can easily lead to unclear protection.This kind of situation can easily lead to problems that are not clear about what to protect or pass on.If rush to carry out protection work,it is contrary to the principles of authenticity,integrity,and scientificity of building heritage protection.In view of this,it is necessary to study the contents,methods,and technical applications of the architectural heritage survey and recording to ensure the scientific standardization of the records.In order to achieve the above objectives,in the second chapter,combing with the practice and correlation of domestic senior scholars,the multi-faceted interpretation of the investigation records by important international charters and the attempts made by relevant international organizations in this field.,the development history,implementation management mechanism and normative guidance system of the survey records of European and American countries' architectural heritage were first summarized.I have a deeper understanding of the importance of survey records of architectural heritage.Then,in the third chapter,we focused on the construction of the United States Architectural Heritage Survey Records System and the related organization “the Heritage Documentation Programs(HDP)”.As a country with less than two hundred years of founding,the United States Nowadays have a large number of archives of architectural heritage records,of which the standardization and scientific standardization guideline document system is indispensable,while our country has serious shortcomings in the creation of archival records of architectural heritage.Therefore,we can learn from the successful experience.Based on the profound understanding of the importance about the architectural heritage survey records and the construction of the normative guide system,the author tried to classify the types of the architectural heritage survey records according to the timing of it in the fourth chapter: the investigation records of the architectural heritage in the “Census of Cultural Heritage”,the investigation records of the protection planning and protection of the architectural heritage in the protection project,and the survey records of the construction heritage in the daily monitoring.And elaborated on the depth to be achieved for each type of architectural heritage survey record.In addition,various types of interdisciplinary methods involved in the survey records of various types of architectural heritage have been summarized.These include ancient architecture mapping,literature surveys,interview surveys,image records,application of horizons,scientific dating,and damages.Disease-free(micro)damage detection and so on.In addition to the traditional methods of investigation and recording,in recent years,a variety of digital information acquisition technologies in the field of architectural heritage survey and recording have also been widely used.Combining it with traditional investigation and recording methods,it can obtain more scientific and accurate architectural heritage information.Therefore,in the fifth chapter,the author introduced three kind of digital acquisition technologies(drone aerial photography and image three-dimensional reconstruction technology,multiple baseline digital close-range photogrammetry technology,three-dimensional laser scanning technology)currently used in the construction heritage survey records combing specific practical cases in detail.And summed up the problems existing in the application of this field,to achieve a more objective and rational view of the purpose of digital acquisition technology and a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the architectural heritage survey and recording methods.
