Electric vehicle is an all-weather multi-terrain vehicle driven by electric power.The environmental adaptability of the power battery pack directly affects the use stability of the electric vehicle in various climatic and environmental conditions,as well as the safety and reliability of the electric vehicle during its whole service life,and also affects the sustainable development of the new energy automobile industry.China has a wide range of climate types,of which the humid and hot climate is a typical one,but the current research on the adaptability of the hot and humid climate of electric vehicle power battery pack is still blank.Therefore,the study on the thermal and humid effects of the hot and humid climate on the battery pack is carried out in this paper.This paper expounds the design requirements for environmental protection of battery packs for electric vehicles and the current situation and shortcomings of related researches on environmental adaptability of automobiles at home and abroad,and the research contents are put forward.Under the concept of environmental adaptability,the adaptability of the hot and humid climate environment of the battery pack is put forward,through analyzing the environmental load spectrum that the battery pack can suffer in the damp-humid climate environment,the main environmental influencing factors are found out,and the effect of solar radiation,temperature and humidity on the battery pack are analyzed.Based on the analysis results,the follow-up research ideas and research methods are put forward.A scheme for collecting environmental load spectra of electric vehicles and battery packs is worked out,and an environmental load spectra acquisition system for battery packs has is set up as well.The environmental load spectra of electric vehicles in parked state have been obtained by natural exposure test in summer.The system understands the main environmental loads of battery packs under humid and hot climate,and also provides boundary conditions and verification data for subsequent numerical calculation and analysis.Based on the mathematical model of heat transfer of automobile body and inner and outer parts of battery pack under natural exposure,the numerical calculation model of car body and battery pack is established and the simulation calculation of thermal environment of battery pack is carried out.The validity of the numerical model and calculation method is proved by comparing the simulation results with the actual measurement results.Then the law of influence of temperature of box surface and internal structure on different physical parameters and ground material of parking area is deeply analyzed by using the numerical model and the numerical model and calculation method.The research results of this paper have reference value for the design of the protection of the hot and humid environment and the environmental adaptability test of the power battery pack,and also have some guiding significance for the establishment of the evaluation system of the power battery pack.
