Telematics is the concentrated embodiment of the application of the Internet of Things in the transportation system,including the network establishment between automobile and automobile,automobile and road,automobile and people,the realization of interaction,to meet the needs of entertainment,safety and efficiency.In recent years,no matter from the level of national strategies and national policies,or from the level of the development of telematics technology and related industrial chains,various signs have shown that the telematics industry will usher in a huge development.This paper takes G Automobile Group,which ranks in the top automotive industry in China,as the research object,analyzes its telematics business,and studies the business that is still in the group's decentralized development stage.And this paper also studies which appropriate strategy should be selected in the wave of industry development to accelerate development of the telematics business among fierce competition in the automotive industry in the future.This paper bases on the relevant theory of strategic management and the application of management tools(PEST,Potter's Five Force Model,SWOT Analysis,QSPM Matrix,etc.)and analyzes the macro environment,the current situation of the industry,the development status of the telematics business and the development trend in the future,which G Automobile Group faces.Meanwhile,this paper studies how to do a good job in strategic positioning and strategy implementation in the future opportunities and challenges of telematics business development,combining its the advantages and disadvantages.Through the above analysis and research on the internal and external environment of the telematics business of G Automobile Group,it is proposed that it should select the "cooperative strategy" to integrate internal resources and select superior alliances to jointly enter the field of telematics to develop the telematics business.In terms of human,finance,material,and other aspects,this paper sums up the safeguards needed for the implementation of this strategy.It is hoped that the research results of this paper will enable G Automobile Group to draw lessons from it and make it possible to achieve the breakthrough of curve overtaking in the Chinese automobile industry under the background of the "Made in China 2025" strategy and the "Internet+" strategy.
